The Daily Dispatch is the Eastern Cape's biggest selling daily newspaper with a circulation area covering a vast geographical area in the east of the province. It stretches from the Kowie River in Port Alfred through to Aliwal North on the Orange River and all the way down to the KwaZulu border.
The readers tend to be young ambitious and of the up-and-coming generation, while established readers are older and wealthier. The readers are fiercely loyal and trust the information carried six days a week. The newspaper provides a Xhosa with English supplement on Wednesdays.
